The original vineyard consisted of blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Gewurztraminer.
At present, the vineyards cover 25 acres and include the addition of other varieties including Syrah, Malbec, Traminette, Pinot Noir, Carmine, Foch, Chambourcin, and Muscat– as well as some as-yet-unnamed experimental varieties.
We planted two new varieties in 2007! Sauvignon Blanc and Nebbiolo. Look for them on the shelf in 2013. Yes, it really takes that long to make good wine!!
